Chassis Trailers

Jet Company has manufactured several different types of chassis trailers for industries including agriculture (fertilizer, seed tender, etc), water, energy, oil, natural gas, and frac sand. Chassis trailers are typically comprised of two high strength main beams that are welded on the top and bottom and both sides with automation. The crossmembers and extensions are designed and engineered per the intended use and load of the trailer.

    Main Beams

    King Pin

    Two fabricated high strength I-Beams. Construction is typically a splice free web and high strength flange on the top and bottom automatically welded on both sides. Height and thickness are engineered for the intended load.

    Material, Thickness, Spacing and Location are all dependent on the use of the chassis trailer.

    2" Forged King Pin - 18" King Pin Setting and 48" King Pin height are common, other settings are available.

    Twist Locks

    Fenders

    Twist Locks allow for container securement during transport.

    Fenders can be installed over the rear tires. Types include aluminum, carbon fiber, rubber, etc. Fenders can be installed in the front of the trailer if the tractor does not have any.
