Over the years, Jet has supplied the poultry industry with live haul specialty flatbeds trailers designed specifically for mounting live cages and hauling poultry. Each trailer is unique to the customer and their needs. Most of these trailers have different options including axle spacing and quantity, trailer deck height, side rail options, and front bulk heads.     Two Fabricated High Strength Steel I-Beams. Automatically Welded, top, bottom, and both sides.

    Steel: Structural High Strength 4” I-Beam, welded to the main beam, on 16", 14” or 12” centers standard. Aluminum Combo: Structural aluminum I-Beams, bolted to main beams, 16", 14” or 12” centers standard.

    Steel: 6" steel channel, 8.2 lbs./ft. Aluminum Combo: 6" side high strength aluminum extrusion, The siderail is the winch track on both sides.

    Steel: 3/8" x 2" steel. Aluminum Combo: 3/8" x 2-1/2" high strength aluminum extrusion

    Spaced 24" on center with pipe-spool. ID 1-5/8" x3-7/16" is common, other spacing and configurations available.

    30” setting standard. Other settings available.

    30” rear axle setting, Hub Pilot, Axle Beam ratings: 22,500 lb rating for spring suspensions, 24,000 lb rating for air ride suspensions

    Air Ride, Rated @ 25,000# with ABS, available in closed tandem (49”) or 10'1" spread. Spring suspension available in closed tandems.

    Steel, White powder coat, 10 Holes, nut 33mm

    Installed in a weather resistant enclosure on the road side of the trailer by the front suspension. Reads pressure from the airbags. Filled with shock absorbing liquid to protect the gauge from vibration.

    Two speed landing legs. Ultimate load capacity 140,000 lbs.

    Steel: 1-1/8" apitong is typical. Aluminum Combo: 1-1/4" extruded aluminum is typical, other options available. 5/16" zinc plated floor screws. 2" nominal oak is also available

    Kneebraces are located approximately on 4' centers, supporting outside rail, primarily located between the landing legs and the suspension.

    Either regulated or non regulated lift axles with control box. Can be installed for any axle in several combinations (Front, Middle and/or Rear)

    Lower deck heights are optional if increased overall head clearance is required.

    A bulkhead can be added to the front of the trailer. either bolted on or mounted in welded stake pockets.

    Aluminum tool boxes can be mounted outside the main beam.

    Twist locks are available for container securing

    Sliding whinches can be mounted the either the road or the curb side of the trailer on the side rails.

    Straps can be added for load securement.

    Rope hooks can be added for load securement.

    Recessed tie downs retract into the deck when not in use.

    D-Rings can be added to the main or upper deck at custom locations.

    Three tail lights are standard. Four are optional. Increases the trailer visibility from the rear.

    Stocking colors are black, slate gray and red, or custom matching is possible.
