COMBO ALUMINUM FLATBED TRAILERS
Jet Company's Combo Aluminum Platform and Combo Aluminum Flatbed Trailers have been a leader in strength and performance for more than 20 years. The trailer starts with our steel beams. Each beam is a continuous one-piece assembly that is automatically welded on both sides. The trailer capacity is a function of the beam depth and flange size, and is dependent on the max load you intend to trailer.
Aluminum components include the cross-members, side rails, and both front and rear ends of the trailer. This reduces the overall weight of the trailer, allowing for a higher load capacity. Custom trailers are designed and engineered with you, for your specific needs. Popular options for our combo aluminum flatbed trailers include sliding axles, triple and quad axles with lift kits, front bulkhead, tool boxes, winches, and more.
Manufactured in standard widths of 96" or 102", and lengths of 45', 48', and 53' with typically a 10' 1" spread tandem axle setup. Above image shown with options.

Two Fabricated High Strength Steel I-Beams. Precision Automated Welded, top, bottom, and both sides.
Structural aluminum I-Beams, bolted to main beams, 16", 14” or 12” centers standard.
Side Rail: 6" tall, high strength aluminum extrusion. The side rail serves as the winch track on both sides.
Rub Rail: 3/8" x 2-1/2", high strength aluminum extrusion
Stake Pockets: Standard spacing is 24" apart with pipe-spool. ID 1-5/8" x3-7/16" is common, optional spacing and configurations available.

Air Ride, Rated @ 25,000# with ABS, available in closed tandem (49”) or 10'1" spread. Optional Spring suspension available in closed tandems.

Trailer is cleaned and chemically treated with a corrosion resistant coating and a black finish.

Either regulated or non regulated lift axles with control box. Can be installed for any axle in several combinations (Front, Middle and/or Rear)
Slider boxes are optional on closed tandems. Also the front or the rear axle can install as a slider on a tandem 10' 1” spread.
Aluminum wheels are available in Standard or Extra Polish. They reduce weight and provide a better visual appearance. Sizes include 8.25 x 24.5 or Wide Base Single Wheels
Regulates correct and equal tire pressure across all tires. Controls two axles. Triple axles will require and second system.
Installed in a weather resistant enclosure on the road side of the trailer by the front axle. Gauge reads pressure from the airbags. Filled with shock absorbing liquid to protect the gauge from vibration. Manual dump valve quickly releases the air from the air bags on the suspension.
Main Beam, Crossmembers, and Knee Braces can be configured for concentrated loads such as steel coils.
A bulkhead can be added to the front of the trailer, either bolted on or mounted in welded stake pockets.
Aluminum tool boxes can be mounted outside the main beam, between the landing leg and front axle.
The tail roll option is ideal for pulling skids onto the trailer.
Twist locks are available for container securing
Sliding winches can be mounted the either the road or the curb side of the trailer on the side rails. Straps can be added for additional means to secure a load.
Rope hooks can be added for additional means to secure a load.
Recessed tie downs retract into the deck when not in use.
D-Rings can be added at custom locations.
Allows for storage of a spare wheel and tire
