Jet Company was founded in 1952 in a garage, on a farm 11 miles from the current location. It began out of duress from a crop failure caused by a hailstorm. Jet wire rollers and post drivers were the first products. Wagon boxes and holding bins soon followed. A move to Humboldt in 1964 to our current location, which at the time was all hay ground, resulted in a 60’x120’ metal building being built. Here truck boxes and hoists were added to the Jet line.

In 1979 Jet Company introduced its first semi grain trailer. During this time, Jet also manufactured an air ride for the RV industry with a patented raise and lower leveling valve. Today Jet builds steel and aluminum grain trailers with several patents: EASY Open grain door, rounded hopper, hanging slope, offset hopper and electric tarp. Dropdeck and flatbed trailers were introduced in the late 80’s, soon followed by tag trailers.

An innovative product now manufactured by Jet Company is the side dump trailer. Jet's side dumps have a patent pending trunnion clyinder mount that improves trailer stability and drastically decreases tub acceleration. Jet has also added a new line of detachable gooseneck trailers.

After many expansions over the years, Jet's current building yields ample room for current and future operations. Sales are done in our office through our dealer network. Our coverage includes all of the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central America and South America.
